We’ve covered thousands of good news stories - from encouraging medical breakthroughs to neighborhood heroes. But this edition will be the last (at least in this form and for a little while). But fear not, we will continue sharing good news, just on our other platforms.

It started with a Google Doc listing good news we’d spotted that week.

The theory was simple enough. The news was relentless, everybody was exhausted by it, and somewhere in the same week that produced the awful headlines there were people doing remarkable things for strangers, and nobody was reporting it. Somebody just had to go shine a light on them. And that’s what we did.

And every Friday, our newsletter landed before your coffee had gone cold.

What we were building was never going to be an empire. But we loved bringing you a little dose of positivity to kick-start your weekend. It’s been an absolute blast. Now we're putting our energy into the rest of Happily, where the good news carries on in bigger form.
